The Arc of Delaware is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization with tax identification EIN 51-0072149. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.

Many years ago, The Arc of Delaware was known as the Association for the Rights of Citizens with Mental Retardation in Delaware. In response to feedback from self-advocates and others, we more recently changed our name for broader appeal and to reflect our association with The Arc of the United States. Today, we are working to update our name change with all relevant agencies, including the federal government. Until that is completed, however, you may see the old name displayed when you search for us on the web.
